Bob-Live at Grooves 2007
Bob Keane
Bob Keane is a Canadian songwriter and acoustic guitar player presently residing in London Ontario after relocating from Nanaimo, British Columbia. Bob was born in a border town in 1955 (as the song goes) and has spent more than thirty years (on and off) in the music business. As a folk singer in the seventies he played plenty of coffee houses, college gigs, church basements, seedy bars and of course the famous "Laundry mat Coast to Coast Tour" of 1976 (transportation provided by Canadian Pacific Railroad-freight division). The problem wasn't catching the train, it was running fast enough to get on it! Bobs musical style is Roots/Folk with a touch of country and rock and roll, although he sometimes flashes back into the slow psychoactive hippie stuff. By utilizing Bobs older material and continually writing, Bobs endeavor is to provide the listener with a multifarious road map to 35 years of music with a truly Canadian flavor.
